Wisconsin Basketball League (WBL)

The Wisconsin Basketball League (WBL) is a men's semi-professional basketball league based in Wisconsin. The league was created in 2020 and is home to local legends and renowned coaches. The WBL strives to create an environment that provides an outlet for athletes to continue to their athletic careers from the comfort and support of their hometown.

 

NOTABLE COACHES & ATHLETES INCLUDE:

Head Coach Phil Cartwright 

Coach Cartwright is a former men's semi-professional basketball player who played in 11 different countries overseas and for the NBA's Seattle Supersonics and New York Knicks.

Head Coach Tyrone Lewis

Coach Lewis was the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Coach of the Year in 2011 and served as a three-time City Conference Coach of the Year. Coach Lewis holds an overall record of 147-68 (.684).

Jemale "Melo" Brown

Jemale "Melo" Brown is UW-Manitowoc's All-Time Leading Scorer with 1,138 points from 2015-2017.
